Hina Arif
Hina Arif is a well-known name in hair and beauty, and has been sharing her expertise for more than twenty years. Her salon in Bukhari Commercial, DHA Phase 6, offers hair, makeup, bridal and party services.
The salon’s Instagram shows the work as it happens: cuts, colour, blow-dries and occasion styling, often photographed in front of the salon’s own monogram.

The space
Neutral inside, blue at the door.
In 2018 the salon was redesigned by interior designer Naeema Kapadia, assisted by Bilal Yousuf. Hina asked for an uncluttered, minimal space in a neutral palette that echoed her signature makeup look.
The one bold note was blue: a bright blue front door and windows that set the salon apart in a lane of brown and tan doors, echoed inside by a single blue sofa.
This website’s palette borrows from that brief: ivory, taupe and espresso, with the blue kept for small details.

Attractive, and practical.
Hina said practicality mattered as much as style. She wanted a space that suited her clients and the daily work of the salon.
Two floors
A ground floor and a basement, each with its own identity, joined by a staircase painted in a chevron pattern.
Clear stations
Hair and makeup stations kept uncluttered, with plenty of storage. An Edison-bulb chandelier greets you at the entrance.
Calm touches
Spider plants and palms, a hand-painted mural at reception, and monogrammed towels chosen by Hina herself.

Every appointment begins with a request. Tell the salon the service, your preferred day and anything useful, like your hair length, recent colour or an event date. The salon then confirms the time and gives you a price for your hair.
